Alleluia! Alleluia! Glory to God in the highest! The Lamb of God has destroyed the sting of death! He is risen! He is risen indeed! Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Almighty God, who has set us free through the blood of Christ, we gather to thank You for the life, death and resurrection of Christ Jesus. Our hearts are inflamed with gratitude, joy and freedom. We raise our voices to You with the heavenly host and we praise You that before the foundation of the world, You foreordained those to eternal life who have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.
We rise early this morning to see for ourselves that the tomb is empty and could not contain the risen Savior. We gather with other believers to share in our celebration. We tell others of this glorious day as we are commanded to publish the Good News. We bless Your Holy name for Your ways are higher than our ways, and your wisdom is above all. You are truly God who delivered us from the wrath to come.
May we please You, Lord God, in our walk and witness of a risen Savior. May we leave our grave clothes behind and allow You to clothe us in fine white linen. May we carry within us and display to others the joy of our salvation each and every day of the year. May we be holy as You are holy. May we never discredit Your name or put Christ to shame for the love and confidence He has toward us. May today be truly a celebration and remembrance of that day You called us to be heirs with Christ. We look forward with longing for the fullness of Christ when we shall meet Him face to face.
With His love and compassion, we pray and praise, in Jesus' name. Amen

Prayer Of Gratitude For Blessings
I am grateful for Your long bearing patience with me in my instruction from You.
I am grateful that You have prevented me from learning another gospel, not that there is one, but perhaps what I am saying is the watered down version of grace without repentance.
I am grateful that You a Moral and Holy God, lest I be deceived in what the walk of Christ needs to reflect.
I am grateful that even as I knew not Your plans for me, You had a plan that entailed good, not evil.
I am grateful that You blocked and ignored some of my foolish prayers for my self-edification.
I am grateful that You have placed me where You saw fit to use and develop the gifts and talents You have chosen for me.
I am grateful for the members in the Body of Christ that have diversity of function that I can not perform.
I am grateful for the peace of mind that the Holy Spirit gives as I stay in Your will; as well as the unsettling in my spirit when I desire to wander off that path.
I am grateful that You had chosen my birth at this exciting time in history.
I am grateful that You have published Your Word to learn, grow by, and obey. It is good that I did not have to be subjected to word of mouth from those who are unscrupulous.
I am grateful that You perform Your Word that it is everlasting, and it shall never fail. You are the I AM and I bow down before You.
I am grateful most of all, for the freely given gift of eternal life, through the sacrifice of Your only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
As I count some of my many blessings this day, help me to display gratitude and joy in all things, at all times. Amen

Lord God, prepare our hearts for this Holy Lenten Season. It is a preparatory period before Easter, the wonderful resurrection day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Lent is a season of soul-searching and repentance. Holy God, shine the light of the Holy Spirit within our hearts so that we may be cleansed of hidden faults and blatant sins.
Lent is a season for reflection and taking stock. Holy God, let us now look over our past year and examine how we displayed You to others and how we ministered to Your needs. Show us clearly our ommisions and turn us around.
Lent season is a time of prayer and fasting. Holy God, let us watch and pray throughout this season. Let us fast and weep throughout this season. Let us fill the commands of Jesus to watch and pray always.
Lent is a season on recalling the Holy Life of Your Son and our Savior Jesus Christ. Holy God, let us read Your Word with hunger; let us celebrate Communion with acknowledgment of Your Presence; let us do the works that Jesus did, and yea, greater than these because He returned to You and gave to us the Holy Spirit.
Almighty God, forgive us if we have treated this season with disregard in the past.
Almighty God, forgive our pastors and churches if they have not taught us the holiness and the need for personal devotion through these forty days preceding Easter morning.
We ask, Almighty God that we might please You and glorify You during this period You have set aside for us to draw closer to You and to serve Your Son, Jesus Christ always, in whose Name we pray. Amen

Lord God, of all the common maladies that strike out at us at various times, the headache is what renders me helpless. The pain, the throbbing, the tension, the distraction and the lack of concentration, disables me from functioning at my best.
Lord, I come to You in confidence, that a mere touch from You can dissolve this affliction. Lay Your hand upon my brow.
Lord, I come to You in confidence that I can trace the residuals in my life that keeps this thorn in the flesh from hampering me to be my best mentally and physically. Lay Your hand upon my brow.
Lord I come to You in confidence that in Christ's trials He knew this affliction and knew how to come to You and pray to You for rest and refreshment. Lay Your hand upon my brow.
Because we have the mind of Christ, I ask You to touch and relieve me. I ask You to grant me, if there be, avenues of medical usage that I use them moderately and cautiously I ask You, if there be an unhealthy habit or stressor in my life that causes these symptoms, that You give me the wisdom to note and eradicate them.
I most heartily ask You for a touch and respite, for health, and for deliverance through Christ Jesus in whom we pattern our lives. Amen

Prayer For The Homosexual
Prayer For The Homosexual
Almighty God, at this point all I know is that I have struggled for years, better said, almost all my conscious life having feelings or actions toward the same sex. I have educated myself, I have explored, I have tried to only be with those that would support my mind frame or lifestyle. It has proven to only leave me empty. It has proven only to leave me more confused than at the moment these thoughts or actions exposed themselves to me. I am not complete or whole, I am not pre-disposed, I am walking a dangerous path. I know that it is because I was created in Your image, and that I was created for companionship with You. I am not, in good conscience, living up to that standard.
I find myself both skeptical and hopeful, and that is why I am turning to You. If it is a last resort, I ask You to forgive me for not coming to You sooner. I cannot escape the thought, What Would Jesus Do? And I know the answer. Both fully God and fully Man, He would not participate or give approval. He was tempted in all ways we are told, but never wavered. That not only impresses me, but gives me insight that He often turned to You and said, "Father, not as I will, but Your will be done." Having been assured of this, I ask that Your will in my life be lived and not mine. I know Scripture warns of the end of those that participate in what I burn for, or worse than that what I have talked and walked. I know in my heart I cannot inherit the Kingdom of God in the flesh that I live.
For this reason and others I turn to You, Creator God, and I ask to be set free and delivered from this inert illness. If You are who You say You are, You can indeed set me free from this sexual perversion and send into my life only those things that might help me to attain not only purity and normalcy, but that which is set aside for Your Holy use.
Deliver me and make me to walk in the paths of righteousness, as Your Son Christ Jesus did who gives me power to pray in His name. Amen

Prayer For Those In A Cult
Almighty God, we are torn with the news that our loved one is in the bondage of a cult. We rejoice that You have revealed this to us that we might take the power of Christ which breaks all yokes and present to them the only true path that leads to freedom and breaks the devil's snare.
We ask Lord, for their protection of life at this moment that they might not die apart from Christ and be cast into the lake of fire as their eternal lot.
We ask Lord, that You grant us courage and wisdom in witnessing to them.
We ask Lord, for helpers in Christ who will be able to help us to preach the Perfect Way, Christ Jesus.
We ask Lord, for strength and patience as we see this loved one act out in hate toward himself and others.
We ask Lord, for demons to be silent and come out in the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
We ask Lord, that this loved one will indeed accept Christ Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
We ask Lord, that You increase our faith as we minister to this one held bondage.
We ask Lord, that You give them a rational mind as we present the Gospel to them.
We ask Lord for the Holy Spirit to not only convict but to cleanse.
In the name of Jesus Christ and by His authority we seek to see this person set free, in their right mind, and we will give You all the glory and honor. Amen

Prayer Of Confession And Forgiveness
Lord, in Your mercy, remember me. Forsake me not as I turn to You and repent of my deeds.
It is written, 1Jo 1:9 "If we confess our sin, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sin, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I have been playing the fool. I know You would put it in much stronger language. I know You have warned me repeatedly to turn from sin. I found myself desiring Your will and path, but wallowing in the excuse of, "Just one more time, Lord." I have offended You, mocked the meaning of the cross of Christ, and driven away the Holy Spirit.
I ask for pardon of my sins. I ask for cleansing. I ask for restoration as I turn away from wickedness and cling to the old rugged cross.
Lord, I know that I am weak, but I also know through Your Word, that when I am weak, You are strong. Show Your strength in my life and deliver me from all evil. Make my resolve a sweet offering to You.
Forgive me and renew a right spirit within me as I walk worthy to Your calling. Cast my sins away from me as far as East is from West. Let me fellowship with You once more with a clean conscience.
Thank You Lord that You have forgiven me over and over again and this time also, and teach me to forgive others their debts as You have surely done for me.
I ask this because I am assured that the sacrifice of Christ was for me. I am made anew, through Jesus Christ this day. Thank You! Amen

Prayer For Vacation Bible School
Father God, we have a great opportunity to witness of Jesus to little ones in Vacation Bible School that otherwise might not be reached for You. We are thrilled to fulfill the Great Commission and to bring the little ones unto You. It is a great privilege of ministering to these children sent here, and we value the thought that our time is limited to reach them. Let us shine for Jesus! For some attending this will be their first opportunity to learn of Christ Jesus and the joy and peace He brings into their life.
We ask You Lord to bless Vacation Bible School time, its workers and staff, and these precious children entrusted to us. Make it a time of revelation for all and a fond memory to keep in ones heart.
We ask that you bless the workers and fill them with the Light of Christ so that He might be honored by all.
We ask that each adult contributing here from snacks to crafts, from attendance taker to teacher, whatever talent and gift You have blessed them with realize that each moment given is an opportunity to bring Jesus alive and personal into a child's life. We fully understand in some cases we might just be expected to be neighborhood baby sitters, but in Your scheme of things we know that an opportunity like this is a chance to reach the lost and their family.
We seek that no child might walk away discouraged by what a Christian stands for.
We seek that parents, who we will have brief contact with, will see that we care deeply for their child because we know Christ cares deeply for us.
Bless this event and permit the little ones to come unto You. May the Presence of Jesus, by the Name we pray to, be apparent to all. Amen

Gracious God, firstly I am grateful that I survived my accident and am able to bring my petition to You while still upon this earth.
I never expected this moment when I would totally be thrown into chaos. I never sensed danger ahead when I started off this day. Therefore, I thank You that although I met head on with danger, You spared my life.
Now the healing begins, Lord and I ask for Your help. Physically the body needs to mend. Mentally, I need to recover from this new fear. Emotionally, I need to learn to overcome this personal affront on my safety.
It is some comfort to know this accident wasn't my fault; couldn't have been prevented; nothing that could be done differently on my part. As I recall the events, I discern I did what was within my power to prevent worse from happening. But Father God, I have suffered trauma and I need Your help now to recover. I ask for Your Presence, comfort and helping hand to get me through the upcoming days of healing of the body, and emotional stability once more.
In Your mercy, help me to count my blessings.
In Your mercy, help me to get through this rough period of time in my life.
In Your mercy, help me once more to trust again and be full of confidence.
In Your mercy, help me to know in the deeper recesses of my heart, that I was spared because You still have a plan for my life and a work to be accomplished.
In the name of my Savior Jesus, I speak to You and ask these requests. Amen

Prayer After Natural Disaster
Almighty God, we sing songs that You hold the whole world in Your hands. We have Scriptures that affirm You created the heavens and earth, and even the winds that blow and the seas that rage: We acknowledge all are within Your grasp. We know and we believe that You control all and that You will never leave us or forsake us.
We come before Your throne of mercy this day, heartsick and wounded at the course of nature that has made ruin of our beautiful land. We have never viewed devastation as we view it this day. The lives that have been forever wounded by this event touch our hearts.
We come before You to ask You to strengthen us now in the aftermath of this disaster. We ask You that You raise up workers willing to walk in the paths of teamwork willing to clean up and restore. We ask that You grant these chosen ones stamina, resolve and determination to see that this area is once made livable again that this area might heal and return to life.
Lord God, there is so much to be done; in Your mercy help us to stick to priorities.
Lord God, many more hands are needed; bless and multiply the hands that are offered here for this work.
Lord God, many lives are broken; help us to set our priorities to minister to them first. Let us not forget personal pain and loss.
Lord God, You promise we will rise up and live again; Make us instruments of Your righteousness to bring this possibility to others.
Lord God, finances are needed; may it please You to open up the windows of heaven to provide.
Father God, bless those that work relentlessly is this field and area where others fear to tread. May the force of love always be more outstanding and memorable than the day of disaster was.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, who works miracles for us and within us. Amen
