Dedication Prayer For Ministry
Almighty God, You have honored me with the request that I be in service to You. Thank You for gifting me with this request. I know that the responsibility for this work is not mine, but Yours. That my part is to present a fit container for the work You choose to do through me.
Lord Almighty, we are so privileged to call upon the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and to have such intimacy with You. Jesus set forth the most perfect example of serving You!
I know that my own talent is not up to the demands of this work, and that You have not chosen me because of my wisdom or skill; You have chosen me because of my willingness to be surrendered to You and Your plans. This is my qualification, and I ask that I always remember my humble beginnings.
Lord Almighty, this opens opportunities for us to be a witness of Your love and a defender of the Truth.
I ask that You touch the hearts and lives of those that come seeking prayer and help. I pray, O Lord that You reach out and touch each heart who is seeking, lonely, suffering, confused or hurting and provide them with Your Presence and peace. I pray that not one will walk away not feeling uplifted by coming to You for a few moments of solace. I ask in Your Name that there be abundant wisdom found in this place.
The needs may be small or great, but You alone have promised to hear the cries of Your children when they call out to You. Bless, dear Father this ministry and make it a place where all may come regardless of their religious persuasion.
I ask these things of you this day, in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen

Prayer Against Pornography
Lord God, there is so much in today"s world that is wrong, but this is a problem I bring to You because I know that You desire cleanliness within us.
Lord God, it almost seems like our television sets display pornography on a daily basis. It does not always, yet I keep it on all day and myself have witnessed things I should have not.
Lord God, it almost seems like our magazines delivered to our homes display, pornography. It does not every column, but I keep subscribing to it.
Lord God, it almost seems like my searches on the Internet leads me to pornographic sites sometimes. It does not always yet I haven't bought safe guards against it on my computer.
Lord God, I find I am uncomfortable with the format of someone that chooses this form and filthiness of addiction, and yet I am not a living example of the purity of Christ that He displayed.
For this reason I bring this one in bondage to this addiction and I ask You to set them free. To deliver them from this filth. To give them a heart for You.
I ask that You make me an example of purity, compassion and love. Help me to make a good example of a clean heart as they are set free from this bondage. Teach me to be wise in presenting them with Christian materials that will convict them and help me to say as Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more" (John 8:11)
Lord God, who sets the captives free, make me instrumental in bringing and releasing this one I know that has been bound too long. Help me to remember that it is only through the grace of God that I myself have not been bound. Set them free through Christ Jesus. Amen

Lord God, Jesus indeed was born in a community called Nazareth, and it was even said, Joh 1:46 "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see."
This Lord God strikes home for my community where I live, I breathe, I work and I do service for Your kingdom. May people be drawn to come and see the good here.
We have counsel and mayor. We have political hierarchy and we have structure. We have authoritative people and we have volunteers all working together to make this a productive community. We have businessmen and we have churches. We have schools and we have community services. We have neighbors and we have drifters. We have it all here, but we need to call upon Your Name to keep our community safe and sound.
We ask You, Lord to bless each of the individual groups named, and those that live and serve that go unrecognized
We pray, God for the babies that are born here that they might be hometown proud of their birthplace some day.
We pray, God for those who are our little children here and are most influenced as they mature in this place called home.
We pray, God for those teenagers who look for a Godly example in this place called home.
We pray, God for those young adults who look for a safe place to raise their families.
We pray, God for those mid-lifers which need to feel their lives are rooted and established at this important time of their lives.
We pray, God for our elderly that the winding down of their lives might be in peace and satisfaction.
We ask You Almighty God to grow our community, but to keep it a place where we might honor You in all we do and say.
We ask this through Christ Jesus, who gathered in love a small band of disciples which later turned the world upside for You! Amen

Prayer After Marital Disharmony
Our great God, I am hurt and I am in need. The Bible says, "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" Amos 3:3
There is disharmony in my marriage right now and there is division. There has been strife and I do not know how to recover and makes things right.
It is so difficult to forget the stinging words and verbal assault. My spirit wants to forgive and reconcile, but my mind does not want to forget and let bygones be bygones.
I am going to try with Your divine strength to take the first step by confessing to You I also have said or done things that have not glorified You. I ask for Your forgiveness. I know You are reading my heart as I speak and I pray that it might once more be a temple of the Holy Spirit.
I thank You for Your grace and for Your forgiveness. I read in Your Word that You cast our transgressions as far as the east is from the west. I ask You to cast my sin far from me and create a clean spirit within me once again.
I ask also, Gracious Lord, that You visit my spouse and cause them to seek Your forgiveness. Cleanse them and enable them to stand aright before You once more.
I petition You Lord, that the two of us might both desire to reconcile.
I petition You Lord, that we both might humbly seek harmony and peace within our marriage again.
I petition You Lord, that You would help us to communicate our needs objectively to one another.
I petition You Lord that You might remove any bitterness or controlling spirits within us.
I petition You Lord, that You cause us to return to our first love for one another and for You.
Help us Lord God, to unite once again with the purpose of having a sacred marriage that honors and glorifies You.
We praise You God that You have directed us in our marriage and in creating a home that might be a fit dwelling place for You, and for those that visit to witness a Godly example of a Christian marriage.
We thank You God for this blessed union, for forgiveness and for reuniting us through Christ Jesus. Amen

Lord God Almighty, we rejoice on this special day of celebration for this loving couple. You have sanctified the institution of marriage and have made it a holy union. It is Your will that this couple remain together until death do them part.
We rejoice Lord, that this couple believes in the bond of marriage.
We rejoice Lord, in their love for one another.
We rejoice Lord, in their love and witness of You.
We rejoice Lord, that they have stuck together through good times and bad.
We rejoice Lord, that it is their intent to place Christ at the head of this marriage .
We rejoice Lord, that You have called us to be witnesses of this union.
We rejoice Lord, that You have called us to be intercessors if any difficulties might arise between this couple.
We humbly ask You, Lord God to bless this union with happiness, peace, health and longevity.
We humbly ask You, Lord God that this couple be a living testimony of the love Christ has for His Church, and her love for You.
We humbly ask You, Lord God that their home be a place of refuge for family and friend, and that many will recognize the special bond that this couple has that reflects You.
Jesus' first miracle was performed at a wedding in Cana. We pray Lord that this loving couple be a witness to Your many miracles available for this generation.
Bless, O Lord for it is Your will that man and woman join together in this sacred institution, through Christ Jesus. Amen

Father God, thank You for all of Your goodness. You have been so kind to us, Lord. You have watched over us and cared for our every need. We bless Your name Lord. You have been better to us than we are to ourselves.
We praise You for Your faithfulness and Your mighty works to the children of men. We know Lord that nothing is too difficult for You, so we lift up this supplication for conception to You.
Forgive us for our sins in our words, deeds and thoughts. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness and create a clean heart in us.Purify our thoughts; change our hearts
Lord, You see the pain of childlessness. Please comfort us as we seek Your face. We want a child so much more than anything, and we have waited for so long. Help us God. We don't understand why so many others have children and we can't. Father, this hurts us so deeply that we groan within ourselves lost for words.
Comfort us with Your peace. If it is Your will, we ask You to give us a child. Bless us to become parents so we can give You all the glory and You will be magnified. We will give You all the praise. We know that You are not a respecter of persons; what You have done for others, You can do for us.So we lift this up to You as we are anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, we make our request known to You.
Thank You for the peace that surpasses all understanding that guards our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus our Lord. Let Your will be done; not ours. We relinquish this strong desire for a child to You. Your will be done; You are sovereign and we bow our hearts to You. For Your mercy's sake, please hear us. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Jesus, I feel quite comfortable addressing You. Father God must have had something special in mind when He sent You to earth and ordained You lived a life of singleness.
Yet Lord, I see You were never alone, solitary or without purpose. You gathered disciples around You and You proclaimed Your meat was to do the will of the Father.
I would like to come into this place at my particular time of life. I want to feel separated for You and Your purpose, but I do not want to be alone and without meaning of life.
I pray, God for blessings upon my life.
I pray, God for purpose upon my life.
I pray, God for meaning upon my life.
I pray, God for acceptance as St. Paul had for being set apart with You.
I pray, God for helpers and companions that will enrich my life, and hopefully that I will enrich theirs.
I pray, God for unique ministry that I could not accomplish if I were weighted down with the cares and responsibilities of marriage.
I pray, God for others that my support my uniqueness of singleness.
I pray, God that the church may raise up comfort and support for me.
I pray, God that I might fully know the height and depth of Your love that solitude brings.
I pray, God for purity.
Bless, O Lord my life of singleness and give me meaning. If perhaps it is ever Your will for me to leave this position, I pray that it is clarified and confirmed by You and You alone.
In the meantime, Lord God, I rejoice in what You have ordained for my life, and I thank You with my whole heart for the privileges that come with being separated for You, as Jesus taught us the example. Amen

Prayer For The Hospitalized
Lord, we need You as Great Physician and Healer. We are asking that You visit our hospital bed and bring with You divine power that will make us well again.
It is a frightening and uncomfortable thing to be placed in the hospital because of our illness or accident. Our body has been assaulted and we are weak. We ask You to get us through this crisis and bring us to the place where we are whole again.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask that through this turmoil You might grant us peace of mind.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask that through the battery of tests, answers might be found.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask for divine guidance upon the attending physicians.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask to be treated with dignity by aides and nurses.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask for comfort for our loved ones who are concerned for us.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask that we remain a good witness in our relationship with You.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask that when we are released You grant us wisdom following up on our care and treatment.
We pray for a time of healing from You and a time of gathering strength from You. We pray that You will work together for our good according to Your will a time of renewal for us and an appreciation of renewed health and wellness, through Christ Jesus. Amen

Prayer For Financial Needs
Gracious God, we bring before You those who are having financial difficulties. We pray that You provide for them and make a way for their needs to be met. Your Word promises in Psa 37:25 "I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread."
Our difficulties meeting basic finances are a hardship right now. We feel that we might almost have to beg, borrow or steal to meet needs. Yet we have Your precious promise that we would not be forsaken or beg. You are our Provider and we look to You.
We pray for a blessing on their finances. We ask that their resources be multiplied. We ask that You help them to sit down and examine their expenditures and cut back where they can without hardship. We ask You to oversee their needs and to provide and make a way for them. We ask for wisdom in deciding the most urgent bills and the ones that can be consolidated or postponed without penalty.
We are asking Lord, that You grant wisdom in handling our finances.
We are asking Lord, that we be better at setting our priorities.
We are asking Lord, that we might eradicate any waste or items that burn a hole in our pockets.
We are asking Lord, that we might become good and generous stewards in the Kingdom of God.
We are asking Lord, that You get us through this time of financial need and that we will recognize this provision from Your hand.
As Jesus multiplied the lad's loaves and fishes so that all ate and was satisfied, we are asking in the mighty name of Jesus, that the same miracle be performed for us. We thank and praise You by our trust with watchful, grateful hearts. Amen

Thanksgiving Through Trials And Difficulties
Thank you, Lord for Your goodness and Your loving kindness. There is no one like You Lord. You lead us and guide us through difficult storms, when no one else can see the way. When it looks as if there is no hope, You give us hope. And when we feel as if there is no solution to our problems, You come and give us the answer- the answer is You.
You are the way, the truth and the life. You are the answer to all of our questions and the supplier of all of our needs.
Thank you, Father that even when we are faithless, You are faithful- You can not deny Yourself.
Thank you, Lord that you can breathe life into dry bones. Lord, You are a miracle worker, a God who works the impossible, and there is nothing too difficult for You. You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.
Your Word is truth. You have never lied to us. You are a God who works all things after the counsel of Your own will.
Thank you, Lord for working all things together for our good. Help us to trust You more, and cause us to have a greater hunger for You- for Your Word and for Your very Presence.
We worship You Lord. You are a great and Mighty God and we bow our hearts to You today and say thank You for all You have done- for every trial You delivered us from and carried us through.
Thank You for all the future trials You will carry us through.
Thank You that You have made us more than conquerors through Christ.
Thank You for Your purposes and Your plans because Your ways are perfect, and your will is perfect and holy. We say today and ever more-Your will Lord, not our wills. Your will-nothing more, nothing less, and nothing else.
Oh the depths of the riches of both the wisdom and knowledge of God. How unsearchable are Your judgments and Your ways past finding out. For who has known the mind of the Lord? Who has been His counselor? Who has ever given to You that You should repay? For from You and to You and through You is everything. To You be the Glory forever and ever, through Christ Jesus. Amen
