Father God, I admit to being terrified and beside myself. I am frightened and concerned about this upcoming surgery.
The thought of being so vulnerable concerns me. My life is in the control of others.
I pray Lord, that the tests that diagnosed me are accurate.
I pray Lord, that Your Presence be there with me.
I pray Lord, that the nurses that prep me are assuring.
I pray Lord, that the one administers the anesthetic is good and capable.
I pray Lord, for the surgeon that will operate be skilled.
I pray Lord, that the team in the OR be alert.
I pray Lord, that the recovery room be prepared to minister unto my needs.
I pray Lord, that the caregivers in my life give me quality care.
I pray Lord, that my family be grateful for my recovery to You, and that they be compassionate in my follow up care.
I pray Lord, that visitors be considerate of my needs. I also pray that I might give testimony to Your greatness and comfort throughout this.
I pray Lord, that as I return home that I will do all that is suggested to enhance my recovery.
I pray Lord, for Your hand upon this entire procedure, from start to finish. Be with me, Lord God and keep me well. I will sing Your praises for the wonders You are about to perform in my life.
Heal me, in the name of Jesus Christ, and make me well again. Amen

Thank You, Lord Jesus for making a way for us to come boldly to Your throne of grace to receive mercy and grace to help in time of need. Thank You that the prayers of the upright are Your delight. We praise You Lord that You are there for us, to hear our prayers and cries to You. Lord, we do not turn to anyone but You. We don't trust in the arm of flesh, but we look to You always. We have set You always before our eyes, because You are at our right hand, we shall not be moved. Please hear our prayers. Forgive us for our sins and all the ways we fall short; cleanse us from all unrighteousness and keep us from presumptuous sins.
Lord, we lift up our teenagers to You. Please speak to their hearts so that they will know You and want to know You more and more. Show them Your ways. Lord, You are so gentle and tenderhearted to us, please speak to these teenagers. Let them know that You love them and are living inside them. If any do not know You, please reveal Yourself to them so that they can be born again. For those who know You, we ask that You give them a deeper and greater thirst for You, for Your Word and Your Presence. Show them the beauty and joy found only in Your Presence. Keep them from all of the distractions from the enemy-those tricks that want to lure them away from You. Bind satan's plans for these teenagers and crush those plans. Don't let our enemy have his way. We ask for You to have Your way in their hearts and lives. Cause them to follow You from their youth; don't let them eat from the table of the enemy. Protect them and keep them close to You- abiding in You. Bring Godly fellowship and show them Your favor. Cause them to want to know You more. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord God, I have a horrible conflict within me. I have thoughts of ending my life. I know for a certainty that this is wrong. I know that Your Word says, "Thou shalt not kill," and "Don't you know your bodies are members of Christ?"
Lord God, these thoughts are so overwhelming at times that I fear I will act on them.
Lord God, I don't know if there is help or treatment available to me. I pray You will lead the way and make help occur.
Lord God, I do not know where to turn, but to cast myself upon Your mercy and beg You to free me from this sin.
Preserve my life, O God and set me free. Help me to love life and honor it. Forgive me for these thoughts and put Your hedge around me that I might not take action on them.
Send to me Your Holy Spirit to comfort and console me. Grant me the opportunity quickly to see life worth living. Prevent me from raising my hand against myself.
I would never dream of harming another and I want to be delivered from these thoughts of harming myself. Jesus said, "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed." Jesus, come to me and set me free. Protect me and help me seek help from somewhere or someone who is able to hear me out and reason with me.
Lord God, my life and times are truly in Your hands. Spare me and make me content to live a full life that death will not touch until You see fit to call me home. You are the giver of life, Lord, and I choose life through Christ Jesus. Amen

Almighty God, princes and countries are all under Your rule. Christ Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords. We bring to You our nation and humbly ask You to govern us.
It becomes no clearer Lord than what You have laid out before us: 2Ch 7:14 "If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
This nation has sinned against you and has been filled with self pride on our industrialism and progress. Yet, despite this You have prospered our nation. We desire to return to You and let You rule this mighty nation. We desire to turn from all ungodliness that rules us.
We recall the fall of the great Roman empire because every man did what was good in his own eyes. We recall that apart from You we can do nothing! We cannot have revival unless You revive us.
Our leaders and legislators seeks the popular vote and opinion. We pray that they might bow their knee to You in submission to what is Your Godly will for leadership and restraints for our nation.
As an individual we can not always be the majority in our opinion, but we can be a Godly example of repentance and prayer in our own life and that which is under our influence.
Almighty God, we seek wisdom and divine rule for this nation.
Almighty God, we ask for Your forgiveness where we have erred and struck out on our own.
Almighty God., we ask for Your blessing to keep us and to prosper us as we pay homage to You.
Almighty God, we thank You for seeing fit to place us in this great land and we ask that You might give us the courage and fortitude to see that this nation might always have people to defend it and proclaim Your mighty name.
We are asking You this in the name of Christ Jesus. We are asking for Your perfect will of governmental rule. Amen

What a perfect example of a Teacher You displayed to us, Lord Jesus. Some of us are teachers in public and private schools, homeschooling, universities, workplace, special ed, or Sunday school. A teacher has their life as a living lesson on display. For this reason we ask You that we who are functioning in this capacity be a wonderful example to others, filled with wisdom and patience.
Some of our students struggle, while others excel. Keep us from labeling them and let us accept both groups as those that are eager for instruction.
Some of us assist others in this profession. May we take the lesser responsibility as serious as those that teach.
We will be literally held responsible for the influence and impact we can make on others as well as every word that proceeds from our mouths. Hold us to accountability. May we not shame Your glorious name.
Father God, we ask that You make us great examples of the living Christ who always with patience and compassion met the public at their level.
Bless us also to answer the one in the Bible who said to Christ, Luk 18:18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life" with a ready answer.
Our Teacher, may we take our responsibilities with all serious.
Our Teacher, may we rejoice that You have called us to this position.
Our Teacher, may on judgment day we hear You say, "Well done thou good and faithful servant."
As another semester begins, be with us through the merits of Your Son, Christ Jesus. Amen

Lord God, all I can think of is the Scripture that says You hate divorce. Mal 2:16 "For I hate putting away, saith Jehovah, the God of Israel." Now I find myself in this position.
Something went astray. My spouse and I both found differences that were irreconcilable. We both have caused grief to one another that cannot be repaired. Perhaps one more than another, but I know your justice scale sees this in a different light than I do and balance lacking in both of us.
God, I am hurt, ashamed and discouraged. When my wedding vows were said before You it never occurred to me to break them.
God, I can not even speak rationally of the hurt and sadness I feel at this time.
God, I can not even reason or justify this action of separating what You have bound together. But Lord, what I do know is that I can turn to You for help and solace.
God, I know that on this occasion You are still with me.
Lord, I do not know what to do with this anger and bitterness, and that is why I am before You right now.
Lord, help me to forgive as well as forget. I ask not to forget why this marriage failed, but I ask to forget the blame and name calling. It is indeed behind me now and there is no reason to cling to the unpleasant.
Lord, I ask that You move me forward in a productive life, that You forgive me, and that You restore me to a right relationship again. The Bible says that You will be our husbandman. (Joh 15:1) Come to me and grant me a closer relationship than ever before.
Restore unto me the days that were worthless and without glorifying You, and create in me a right spirit that will be content in allowing You head of my household once more.
If it be Your will to grant me a second chance, let it be shown clearly Your wisdom in my life. May I never, ever make this mistake again, trusting in Christ is what I will now do. Amen

Jesus said to bring unto Him the little children. Regardless of age or position in life we humbly come unto You God Almighty and join in Your Kingdom. We want to be numbered with the faithful and be baptized in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This has been a sacrament of the church since Christ set by example His baptism.
We do indeed renounce the work of the devil and have received Christ Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. What a day of great triumph and victory this is. We do believe that Christ washes away all our sin.
We call upon everyone that is witnessing this event today to be mindful to keep us in their prayer and to encourage us in our walk with Jesus.
We call upon Your Mighty name to bless the ordained minister who is performing this and may it please You.
We call upon Your Mighty name to preserve us until You call us to our eternal dwelling.
We call upon Your Mighty name to be present with us at this public testimony.
We call upon Your Mighty name that Christ who has began a good work within us will bring it to completion.
We call upon Your Mighty name that by Your power You would keep us from using Your name in vain, backsliding, denying the faith, and shaming Christ.
From this day forward, my life is given to You for safekeeping and a witness that I believe in Christ Jesus and that He is the only way to eternal salvation.
Bless, O Lord this baptism for it is done through the finished work of Christ at Calvary. Thank You Lord, through Christ Jesus, our Savior. Amen

Prayer For Anger Management
I am greatly convicted by these two Scriptures in Your Word, Lord. Jam 1:20 "For the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God." And, Pro 19:19 "A man of great wrath shall bear the penalty."
I am given to anger and often feel out of control. Others have not only pointed this out to me, but I have sorrowed on occasion for my behavior. I am not working Your righteousness and there is a penalty that will come upon me.
God, forgive me for I have hurt others.
God, forgive me for I do not honor You when this occurs.
God, forgive me for justifying myself when this happens.
God, forgive me for often I do not even recall what I have done or said.
Gracious God, it is time for the Holy Spirit to come to me and cleanse me, convict me, and grant me the fruit of self-control.
I can't even imagine what my life will be like without having the constant companion of anger ruling me. This has indeed been my lifestyle. I know I need help and I know that this behavior must cease.
I have been destructive to self, verbally and emotionally downgrading to others, and I have even foolishly disregarded belongings. I have not come to You before this to reason together with You, but I come now, Lord. I need help, Lord and I don't know where to begin but at the foot of the cross.
I place myself at the throne of mercy and I ask You to counsel me and to send me help. I know I need deliverance. I am not sure where to begin, but I will seek help now that I have made confession to You.
Cleanse me, Lord Almighty and help me to start this journey of self-awareness and self-control so that I might be a witness of Your power and grace, through Christ Jesus. Set me free, and I will be free indeed. Amen

Father God, we are told to come to You just as we are. I come to You feeling browbeaten and helpless. I come to You seeking relief from my disability.
The multitudes sought Jesus for a cure. The disabled came to Him seeking the only way out of their dilemna--a miracle.
I find myself legally disabled. In Jesus' time they gave alms but did not have governmental supplements to support such a diagnosis. I believe that is why they came seeking Him. I find myself trapped into the system. I want to support myself without begging, and I would rather be made whole and able bodied once more.
I ask to be mindful that there are others who suffer more than I do, Lord.
I ask for wholeness in my life, Lord.
I ask for healing when all other means have failed me, Lord.
I ask that You grant me the faith to keep on coming to You in prayer and petition for this need, Lord.
I ask that You remove self-pity and condemnation far from me, Lord.
I ask You to make a way for me to have a productive life, Lord.
I ask that You either grant me contentment if this is Your will, or great persistence if it is Your will to heal me, Lord.
Most of all, I ask that I might be a great witness to Your grace and mercy, Lord.
I know You and I rejoice in the plans You have for me because I know they are all working together for my good.
Grant me faith, trust, hope and a willing spirit to face each day and accept it as You have ordained.
Help me not to fall into the trap of self-pity, but keep me content in whatsoever state You have called me to.
I believe Lord, help Thou my unbelief as we sojourn through this time in my life. Because Christ Jesus lives, and through Him I live and ask and seek Your blessings. Amen

Prayer Against Oppressing spirits
Father God, in the powerful name of Jesus Christ and by merit of His shed blood, we address the bondage and the spirits which have come against us or those we know.
We pray for deliverance and help in His name.
We pray for victory in His name.
We pray for relief in His name.
We pray for wellness in His name.
We pray that each one prayed for or ourselves might accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and cling to Him through life difficulties as we walk through this valley. We choose today whom we might serve and it is Jesus Christ. "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!" In the name of Jesus, come out.
We pray that the same miracle working power that set captives free when Christ walked this earth is available now for those that are bound.
We ask You, God Almighty for deliverance from the evil spirits which have sought to bind us. We believe that You alone can set us free.
We confess that we might quite well have placed ourselves on a slippery path. We renounce the workings of the devil. We are seeking now restoration to the perfect path of Christ Jesus.
Evil has no authority over us. Christ is victor and He has conquered the devil and the minion of his hosts.
In the name of Jesus and by His authority, we ask for freedom and wholeness from all that torments us. Set us free and we will be free indeed. There is nothing that we desire to bind us, but the name of Christ Jesus, in which we pray. Thank You, God Almighty for freedom and deliverance. Amen
